Ridge Country Retreat is now available for hire. Superbly suited for small workshops or retreats, RCR has all the facilities to make your retreat a wonderful experience for your participants. Situated on a 35 acre (11 Ha) of native bush on a ridge high in the Papamoa Hills, the views down the valley to Tauranga CBD are truly spectacular. Bushwalks and a geothermal pool are located on the property, Kaiate Falls and Summerhill Golf Course are only a few minutes by car.
Venue hire of RCR is also suited for hobbist groups that would like to meet up in a beautiful location for a day. Activities must be in keeping with the retreat and its quiet, peaceful environment.
Hire RCR for Retreats or Workshops
Rates (All pricing is exclusive of GST)
Conservatory Hire per day: $300
plus
$25 per person per day
plus
$150 per day for heating (May - October)
Includes the following:
Large space for workshop
Use of kitchen and facilities for catering
Access to geothermal pools
One towel per person for use with pools
One suite for changing room
Please note the following conditions:
Venue is available 9am - 5pm.
Please note that no more than 6 vehicles can be accommodated onsite, however there is ample room for a bus to ferry people up and park.
Accommodation
Three suites are available for accommodation overnight, each one with a superking bed which can be split into two singles for a twin share configuration. The tariff on these is $200 per suite per night.
Security Bond & Deposit
The venue hire will be secured with a $1000 bond, used to rectify any damage sustained during the tenure. The bond plus the hireage charge is payable on booking.

RCR is NOT licenced for consumption of alcohol
No animals
No smoking in rooms or near hazardous materials
Cancellations
For all Venue Hire bookings, the following rules apply:
1. Cancellations with more than 21 days notice will receive a refund of 100% of the deposit and any other monies prepaid.
2. Cancellations with 21 days or less AND more than 72 hours notice will receive a refund of 50% of the deposit and any other monies prepaid.
3. Cancellations with 72 hours or less notice will forfeit the deposit.
COVID-19 Policy
Cancellations that occur as a result of government action will have all monies paid refunded in full.
